What is missing - Well, I hope that Creativerse takes some bits and stuff from some of the more successful minecraft modpacks. And I hope I am not being too harsh when I say, you woul be better off playing MapleStory. The MADPACK, Attack of the B Team, YOGSCAST Complete and obviously Tekkit.

The two differ immensely for the experience that is sought in each game - Honestly though, Trove is a piece of dogs balls, simple for the reason that there are minecraft mod packs that can shit all over it. I just finished building a skull castle off the side of a mountain that drools lava down into a valley with Yggdrasil the World tree, that's also a tree house and I think i'm about 300 hrs out from completing my replica of the U.S.S Enterprise shooting down a Klingon war ship. "What's that, your Cornerstone is hella mad, wif all dem trophies and 4 stories, statues, throne room and portal world!. Trove is about that shiny bling mmo loot stuff. what else do you expect?Ĭreativerse is about that sandbox building.
Build your danky old corner stone, go to the portal. and I noped the fuck out of that cave so hard. thought I would just see if I could grab some minerals, then I walked into the cave and saw something that looked like it had crawled out from under my bed when I was 6yo.

collected blocks, worked out how to build my janky house, worked out bits and pieces of the crafting menu - in my world seed, I have a natural cave about a stone throw from my house. My first experience with Creativerse was great. it doesn't matter, you can fully contort and form the world around you. In Creativerse, you can find something that looks dangerous and just block it off. You can't do things like tear apart dungeons, or build defense walls around bosses. Things have levels, you can look at something and say "yeah" or "nah". you are locked into classes, dungeons, raids. You have to make a guess-timate about how far you can go. It's a sandbox, it doesn't hold your hand, the world is at your finger tips as well as the survival aspect. Creativerse conforms more to the standard of minecraft's world. Tl:dr - genre separates the games, just what are you looking for?Ĭreativerse and Trove are comparable, but in the same sense they are not. Whilst Creativerse and Trove share a archetype inspiration - the games are a bit birds and fishes.
